ELBC: the European Lead Battery Conference & Exhibition is live and online

The first global lead battery gathering since the coronavirus pandemic

From 22-24 September, the European Lead Battery Conference & Exhibition will be live and online. Hosted by the International Lead Association and the Consortium for Battery Innovation, this virtual conference will bring the latest updates on the lead battery industry.

Over three days, the ELBC Studio will feature a full programme of insights and analysis from over 50 leading industry figures and research experts. Industry Insights sessions will platform leading experts and company executives as they share their analysis and debate the impact of the pandemic on the lead battery industry to delegates. Two days of Technical Sessions will highlight the latest lead battery research and innovations, from fundamental science through to automotive and energy storage applications.

The virtual ELBC Exhibition will be open throughout the event – where attendees can meet industry suppliers, visit interactive exhibition stands, and chat live to exhibitors.

The exciting line up of industry leaders include new Clarios President & CEO Mark Wallace, in his first address to the global lead battery industry and Christophe Pillot, Founder of Avicenne Energy who will be outlining future lead battery market opportunities. Industry forecasts will be delivered by Neil Hawkes, CRU Principal Lead Analyst while Dong Li, Chairman of Leoch Intl will give an overview of growth in demand in China. Also appearing will be Rene Schroeder, Executive Director of Eurobat, covering the topic of a new EU regulatory framework on batteries.
